PC Hardware Graphics and TrueGrid^® OpenGL Graphics Compatibility Note

There are many types of graphics boards and most, but not all, are capable of running the accelerated OpenGL graphics in TrueGrid^®. It is not required that you have a system that supports the accelerated OpenGL graphics in TrueGrid^® because there are two versions of TrueGrid^®. The two versions are: tg, the OpenGL accelerated graphics version for both WINDOWS and LINUX, and tgw and tgx, the non-OpenGL versions for WINDOWS and LINUX, respectively.

If you wish to purchase a new computer to run the OpenGL accelerated graphics version of TrueGrid^® or to check if the OpenGL accelerated graphics version of TrueGrid^® will run on an existing system, please call (925) 373-0628 or email at info@truegrid.com. You should identify the machine, the graphics card, and the operating system (for example WINDOWS XP or LINUX RedHat 9) and ask if the accelerated OpenGL graphics version of TrueGrid^® runs on your system.

TrueGrid^® for Networks

Each copy of TrueGrid^® can be run on any supported computer on your network. Each copy is limited by the network license manager to be run by only one computer at a time. When multiple copies of TrueGrid^® are purchased for a network, then that number of copies can be run simultaneously. Additional requests to run TrueGrid^® will be placed into a queue, and TrueGrid^® will run according to those requests as soon as a copy becomes available.

Each copy of TrueGrid^® comes complete with the two volume TrueGrid^® User's Manual, Examples Guide and Tutorial (in PDF format).
If you would like more information about TrueGrid^®, you can receive a free color brochure with detailed information by calling the office. You are also encouraged to ask any technical questions of the staff at XYZ Scientific Applications, Inc. .

Upgrades

If you wish to receive an upgrade version of TrueGrid^® from the InterNet, contact the office. TrueGrid^® is also available on CD-ROM. If you are not on the maintenance program, then you will be asked to purchase the upgrade.
We have a liberal policy at XYZ Scientific Applications of supplying our customers with the latest version of TrueGrid^® whenever it is appropriate. If a bug is causing you difficulties, please let us know. If it is a new bug, we will work on it as soon as possible. If there is a work around, which is usually the case, we will give you that work around. If not, we will give you a version with the bug fix, as soon as possible.

TrueGrid^® Trial or Demo

A version of TrueGrid^® is available on a trial basis for the UNIX and Windows platforms. There is also a free demo on the front page for the PC running WINDOWS.
